Join Chris as we explore garden topics that will give you a boost in planning your garden this spring.
We’ll go beyond the usual topics that you can find in the Garden Masterclasses inside the DIY Herbal Fellowship. In this challenge we’ll look at the structure of your garden — soil fertility, the presence of pollinators, managing waste, seed saving and planning for winter gardening.
Why are we talking about the structure instead of the veggies and medicinal herbs you need to plant? When we take care of the structure and get a bird’s eye view of how all the parts work together, often the other questions about how much to plant and where to plant it take care of themselves.
How this works
Over the next few weeks, Chris will post a video here focused on one aspect of garden planning. You can watch the video at your leisure. If you are participating add your comments and questions to the post so that we can have a conversation around the topics discussed.
