Preparing Your Herb Garden

In this module you’ll discover how to find your garden’s plant hardiness zone. You’ll calculate the exact length of your growing season based on the frosts over the last several years. You’ll also test your garden soil and determine it’s makeup and pH. You’ll learn how to amend the pH organically. This is a foundation lesson in core content. This lesson is slightly longer than other lessons in the DIY Herbal Fellowship, but the information you’ll gain to help you with your own gardening expertise is very important.  Beginner gardeners, this is your foundation.  If you’ve been gardening for a few years this may be a refresher course.
